Leone Stars lose 2018 World Cup opener

Leone Stars conceded a goal in the second half to lose their opening match of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers 1-0 to Chad at Stade Omnisports Idriss Mahamat Ouya in N’djamena on Saturday.

Leger Djimrangar accounted for the goal two minutes after the break to give Chad their first ever victory over Sierra Leone as it was the first meeting between the two teams.

Leone Stars who played with nine foreign based players now face a difficult task to overcome the defeat in the return leg to progress to the second round of the qualifiers.

Sierra Leone will host the return leg in the Nigeria City of Port Harcourt on Tuesday as they are banned from hosting international matches because of the ebola decease in their country.

The winner over the two legs will qualify to meet seven times African Champions Egypt in the second round to be played between November 9 to17.

That report is totally wrong, FIFA was having big issues, and Chadian one is totally wrong, you can check on weltfussballarc hiv.com, we made the coverage almost correct (missing data still but better than other websites)
