Venue ready for historic awards night

Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, London
The Holiday Inn on Coram Street in Bloomsbury, London is ready to host the historic Sierra Leone Football.com awards ceremony and 5th anniversary celebration scheduled for Saturday at 8pm BST (19:00 GMT).
It'll the first time the
awards ceremony is being held outside Sierra Leone and it's being sponsored by
telecommuincations company based in the United Kingdom Globalkall.
"Everything
is done interms of logistics and catering.The venue is ready" said ,Abdoulaye Ly,
the conference and event operations manager.of Holiday Inn explained to Sierra Leone Football.com.
He
added: "We want to help the organisers get a memorable event and already
the signs are very good.
We are
just waiting for Saturday and
I'm sure our facilities will please the organisers and guests. They'll like
what they will see."
The
Chief organiser of the event, Sulaiman Jabati, of Sierra Leone Football.com said
he was pleased with what he saw in the venue after he led a team to do a final
inspection on the facilities on Wednesday.
"I'm
satisfied with what I've seen in the venue. I feel good about the entire
preparations for the event," said Jabati.
"It's
been a hard work hopefully it'll all be worth it. We have done everything
possible to make the event a successful one."
"We
are just waiting for the big day to come to make history."
"For
us what's more important is to recognise our past and present footballing
heroes and aslo help motivate the upcoming footballers to do well in their
careers."
Meanwhile,
some invited guests including the President of the the Sports Writers
Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL) Frank Magnus Ernest Cole have already flew
into London for the event. Others are expected to jet in on Thursday, Friday and
few hours to the occasion on Saturday.
