Ten out of thirteen foreign based players invited by Leone Stars coach Sellas Teteh are in N'djamena to face Chad in their opening fixture of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers on Saturday.

They are Sheriff Suma (Azerbaijan), Mohamed 'Medo' Kamara (England), Mustapha Dumbuya (England), Umaru 'Zingaay' Bangura (Belarus), Abdul Sesay (Finland), John Kamara (Greece), Mohamed 'Poborsky' Bangura (Sweden), Alhaji 'Andriano' Kamara (Sweden), Solomon Zombo Morris (France) and Mohamed Kanu (Liberia).

Saudi Arabia based defender David Simbo pulled out of the squad because of injury while George Davies who plays in Germany will not be available too.

Leading goal scorer in the United States MLS Kei Ansu Kamara was invited but decided not to honour the invitation as he has put a halt to his international career with Sierra Leone.

The squad in N'djamena also include nine home based players.

Leone Stars will host the return leg in the Nigerian city of Port Harcourt on October 13 and the winner over the two legs will face Egypt in the second round of the qualifiers next month.
