FC Johansen in Monrovia to honour CAF Confederations Cup fixture

FC Johansen in Liberia to face BYC

Sierra Leonean outfit FC Johansen arrived in Monrovia on Wednesday to honour their 2013 CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round first leg tie against BYC of Liberia on Sunday at 1600GMT.


The team departed Freetown on road on the day they landed in Monrovia with 26-man delegation comprises of 18 players and eight officials
(See below for full list).

It's the first time the Freetown based club owned by a lady Isha Johansen are participating in continental clubs competition and it
came a year after they entered the Sierra Leone Premier League.

Madam Johansen is expected to be a candidate for the forthcoming Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) presidential election.
